Your church already knows Bible stories. Does it know the Bible's story?

When my church took a basic Bible literacy quiz, 60% failed. And we’re a Bible-teaching church! The people who attend your church aren't unfamiliar with Scripture. They're missing the framework that connects it. That gap shapes their discipleship, their confidence, and their ability to disciple the next generation.

The Story of God's ten-scene Bible framework: Creation, Separation, Promise, Sacrifice, Law, Kings, Prophets, Salvation, Spirit, and New Creation.

The Story of God isn't a new curriculum built to sell. We've run this course at Five Oaks Church since 2011, and we believe in it so much that it's a requirement for church membership. It's built on a simple 2-Act, 10-scene framework that shows people how the whole Bible connects, with Jesus at the center.

We also measured it. For four years, every group that went through the course took the same literacy quiz before and after. Across eleven groups and more than 200 people, average scores rose from about 5 out of 10 to about 7.5. Every group improved.

Why This Works

The Pilot Invitation

I'm inviting a limited number of churches to pilot The Story of God with my personal help. Accepted pilot churches receive the complete Church Kit, free.

The Kit includes everything you need to:

  • Run a pilot group

  • Measure biblical literacy before and after the course

  • Launch the course church-wide once your pilot proves it out

Church pilot resources including The Story of God book, the Church Kit, and the Bible Literacy Assessment.
